Pricing
Free to build, pay to operate.
You are charged for how much runs at once — not for users, Dashboards, Flows, or connections. Those are unlimited on every paid tier.
A parallel execution is one slot for one running Flow. With 2, two Flows can be in flight at the same instant; a third waits for a slot and starts a moment later. With 20, a plant can refresh twenty dashboards, alerts and syncs simultaneously without anything queuing. Nothing is ever dropped at the cap — runs wait their turn.

Users, Dashboards and the Assistant are unlimited everywhere because we do not charge for them. The only things capacity bounds are how much runs at once, how many Flows you publish on Free, and how many workspaces you keep.
Essential and Professional upgrade in-product — no sales conversation needed.
Questions about the bill
- What counts as a parallel execution?
- One Flow run occupying one slot for as long as it takes to finish. A Flow that runs for twenty seconds holds a slot for twenty seconds and then gives it back. Two parallel executions means two runs can be in flight at the same instant — not two runs per day, and not two Flows.
- What happens when I hit the cap?
- Runs queue rather than fail. The next execution starts as soon as a slot frees up. Nothing is dropped and no data is lost — a busy minute just takes longer to clear.
- Can I self-host?
- Yes, on every paid tier, including fully air-gapped with no outbound network access. Self-hosted Advanced has no cap on parallel executions, because every execution runs on hardware you own. The Free tier is cloud-only.
- How do I upgrade?
- In the product, from billing settings. The new capacity applies immediately and billing is prorated. You do not need to talk to anyone to move between Free, Essential and Professional.
- Is there a trial?
- There is something better: a Free tier that does not expire. Build Flows, publish up to ten, and run them on one parallel execution for as long as you like. You pay when you need more capacity, not when a clock runs out.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- Nothing, because we never had a copy of it. Your business records stay in your systems — FactoryThread reads them when a Flow runs and discards them afterwards. What we hold is your connection settings, your Flow and Dashboard definitions, and a record of each run; that is what is removed when you close the account.
