FactoryThread is a SNIC Solutions product. It came out of years of integration work across manufacturing sites, where the same pattern repeated: the data existed, the systems were in place, and still nobody could answer a simple question the same day it was asked.
The gap we build for
A plant runs software in layers, and each layer renamed the one below it. The ERP knows what was promised and what it should have cost. The execution system knows which order ran on which line and what it scrapped. The machines know the counts and the stops. Maintenance knows what broke. All of it is recorded, all of it is accurate on its own terms, and none of it agrees with the rest without someone sitting down and making it agree.
That someone exists in every plant we have seen. They have a spreadsheet, they rebuild it weekly, and the numbers everyone argues about in the morning meeting come out of it. This is not a failure of anybody's diligence — joining four systems is genuinely a quarter of work, and no single question is ever worth a quarter, so the spreadsheet survives another year.
What changes the arithmetic is making the join cheap. Once two systems are connected, the second question that needs both of them costs almost nothing, and the third is free. The spreadsheet was never protecting a hard problem; it was protecting the setup cost of an easy one, paid over and over.
What we believe about it
The data already exists
Almost nothing on a plant floor goes unrecorded. The ERP has the order, the execution system has the operation, the machine has the count, and somebody has a spreadsheet joining two of the three by hand every Monday. The problem was never collection.
An answer is not a number
A figure on a screen that nobody is told about and nobody can act on has not finished the task. The answer, the person who needs it, and the change written back into the system that owns it are one thing, not three products.
The person with the question should build it
Every layer of queue between someone noticing a problem and someone seeing the data is where the question dies. The team that asked it changes it afterwards; IT keeps the Connections and the permissions.
Read before you write
A new Connection reads and nothing else until someone configures a write and says where it may land. Being trustworthy on day one is worth more than being impressive on day one.

We do not ask you to move your data
No warehouse to fill first, no migration, no second copy going stale beside the first. A Flow reads when it runs, from the systems that already own the records.
We do not replace what works
Your ERP and your execution system are not the problem and we are not a candidate to replace either. The gap is between them, and that is the only place we sit.
We do not publish a benchmark for your plant
No typical saving, no industry-average recovery, no number we picked dressed as arithmetic you did. Our own calculator starts at zero for that reason.
